The Art Smock started with a memory: As a child, Susie used to borrow her grandfather’s old dress shirts, worn backwards, before she spent hours painting in her grandmother’s La Jolla art studio. The "smocks" were equal parts protective and flexible, lending themselves to tailored comfort and creativity at the easel.
Our version of Susie's smock is an extra-oversized (in all the right ways) button-up shirt that you can wear however you like. Buttoned up, open, half on, half off. It’s a simple shirt with a simple purpose: throw it on and get to whatever you’re doing.
